TXTR Studio is the result of years of collaboration and inspiration between Matt and Natalie Studdert. It’s the fusion of skill sets, passions and ambitions between two creatives that share a common desire to create beautiful work that makes a difference.

Matt Studdert
Co-Founder and Creative Director

Matt is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer based in Brisbane, Australia. Prior to co-founding TXTR Studio, he forged his career as an industry-leading creative in Brisbane’s design and brand studios.

From precise, corporate identity design to layered, urban graffiti-scapes, Matt’s work demonstrates an accumulated knowledge of techniques that have been honed through traditional design training, professional practice and, over 25 years of graffiti, studio artwork and mural production experience.

This unique, dual skillset is best demonstrated when Matt creates the marriage between a corporate identity and its physical environment.

With a mission to help brands harness the power of art and design to achieve transformative commercial outcomes, Matt brings a wealth of business acumen to every project – particularly in the fields of narrative-driven creative.

Natalie Studdert
Co-Founder and Director

Nat sees brand and place from a social and behavioral perspective. With over 18 years experience as a social scientist in a project development and management capacity, Nat can apply a unique way of approaching the problem solving process.

A particular project that demonstrates her passion for social change, was Station 3 – a mentor-driven initiative for young graffiti artists that nurtured talent and deterred participants from entering criminal justice system. The initiative showcased the participant’s talents with public artwork adorning traffic signal boxes and civil infrastructure within the Brisbane City Council precinct.

Understanding how creative and environment unite requires visionary foresight. Whether it be a curated artwork collection within a contemporary dining space or a feature work of public art – Nat’s ability to predict the nuances of the harmony between design and place provides an essential layer to TXTR’s strategic process.
